In v3.3.2, the Claude plugin configuration referenced a command that was not actually installed by pip, creating a broken out-of-the-box setup for fresh users. This release brings pyproject.toml and the Claude plugin definition back into alignment so the expected binary is installed correctly.

The hook runner now resolves more reliably on Windows and on some macOS plugin directory layouts that previously broke. Shell hook execution was improved as well, with proper python3 resolution and support for a MEMPAL_PYTHON override path.

The optional wing parameter was added to diary read/write tools, and the stop hook can now derive a per-project wing from the Claude Code transcript path. That prevents diary entries from unrelated projects from collapsing into the same default wing. Search handling was also relaxed so empty-string values for optional wing and room filters are treated as no filter instead of causing validation errors.

Finally, the transcript-path wing derivation logic was broadened to handle more Claude Code project folder naming patterns, reducing edge-case failures in multi-project setups.

This release matters because it improves the day-to-day trustworthiness of MemPalace in real AI-assisted development workflows. The install fix removes a high-friction onboarding failure for Claude Code users, while the save visibility and hook-resolution fixes reduce silent breakage that can undermine confidence in memory tooling.
